The Aspen XII Ensures You Will Never Forget An Anniversary
When it comes to customizing a watch, you generally are limited to selecting specific components (say, a handset or dial) or maybe the finish given to the case. So, what if you really want to get into customizing every detail of a watch? Well, then you have moved into the realm of one-off builds, with prices reflecting the level of detail and effort C while, in return, scarcely encountered possibilities are offered. What the highly unusual Aspen XII watch offers is a customizable calendar and reminder system C all mechanical C assuring that you never again forget one of those important anniversaries. The "hook" for this watch is that you work with the brand to get 12 special dates (and a name for those dates) built on to the cylinders used in the watch. Incoming - end of an odyssey
For some time, I have had an interest in this watch, but had successfully convinced myself that I could live without it. Nonetheless, on a lark I reached out to a seller and , after some back and forth (and helpful advice from TRF members), the seller and I reached a provisional deal. Unfortunately, that deal didn't end up working out...but by that point reason had gone out the window - I needed to have this watch! what followed was a lot of time hammering around on various forums. I'll post a separate thanks in the who's who section - but thank you here as well! The piece arrived last night---------International shipping demands patience The unboxing (rest assured it was sent double boxed...just sparing readers photos of every step of the process)----------The 15707CE is a very cool watch. I very much understand why it
47 mm watch Appreciation "Show Yours"
I just wanted to start a thread for the 47 mm watch, because it sometimes get a bad wrap as being a (clock watch). Well, I for one love the size and I just want to see others.
Is there any way of purchasing individual oyster links
This is for the GMT, so polished center links. A couple of the screws in my links are slightly damaged although not enough to effect the functioning of the watch, is there any way to buy official replacement links (or at least screws)? Also, are the screws usually replaced during a Rolex service?
At my local Costco
Saw this today at my local Costco. A total beauty! Wish like crazy I could afford it. I have wanted a Gold Rolex for a long time but just cant make it happen financially. Donations greatly appreciated!
