AP Authorized Repair Center? Illinois
Hey everyone,My dad has an AP that his father gave to him. It means a great deal to him, but unfortunately it is having issues keeping time. Does anyone know an authorized repair center that is near Chicago? Also, I understand that it is near impossible to guess without knowing the issues, but does anyone have an estimate on the costs to repair the watch? It's a royal oak and it stops working at random times throughout the day.Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Any speedmasters smaller than 40mm
Does anyone know if Omega made any Speedmasters under 40mm in size?
Looking for my 1st SMP300 - which will you pick?
Thinking of adding this iconic Omega to my collection. Never really been a Omega dive watch fan but the PO8500 and SMP300 slowly winning me over...Now it is either the wave dial with AL bezel insert or the ink blue dial with ceramic bezel insert. Both running on the 2500 caliber. The older model has a white date wheel and the newer one shows a black date wheel. The blue is the new model is richer and the blue in the old model a little subdued.Dimensions remain similar. The new model costs about USD450 more than the old model.Which do you own? Any thoughts?Below are pictures taken from Omega official site. The New SMP300:The Old SMP300:thanks for your inputs! :)
Something different to end the year
The limited edition JFK commemorative, 18ct YG, manual wind cal. 2006:Photos do not do this one justice - at least mine don't. I'll have to get it up to Bill's (gaopa's) studio for some professional shots.Although I had some concerns about the size ( 25.39 x 31.50mm x 7mm ), it wears nicely. At only 32gm, it is hardly noticeable on the wrist but definitely has presence and will make good modern company for my 60-year old Omega bumper and Rolex bubble back. What a way to end the year!Fr. Changed my mind.
Okay so I was looking at a 111 the other day. The one I wanted had gone so I looked at alternatives.Found a great deal on a 590 from an AD. Agreed to give me the same deal I could source from a grey dealer so I'm happy about that. Should pick up in couple of days.Anyone else got the 590?
