UTS 4000M GMT Dive Watch
This is the latest watch from UTS Munchen. We've written before about UTS, it's basically the obsessive engineering of Nicolaus Spinner. Do you really need a watch that resists pressure from over twelve thousand feet of water? No, you do not. Do you want one? You just might.Simply called the UTS 4,000M, there are two versions, a GMT with the ETA 2893 and a 3-hander with the ETA 2824.Unlike most brands, UTS makes their own cases. Spinner is a mechanical engineer, and personally I have to say that watch-obsessed engineers make the most interesting watches. Think UTS, Damasko, ochs und junior, and probably others. You don't have to be a mechanical engineer, but it seems to help.Anyway. The 4,000M is a massive 45mm by 17.5mm, with 6mm AR-coated sapphire crystal, bidirectional ceramic bezel locking system and special glued and screw system for the crystal. Despite the abyssal rating, it does not need a helium escape valve, as the superior case seals preclude helium from ever intruding. Supe
5711 question
Hi , i have a 3 y/o 5711, when pulling the crown to adjust the time, the second hand should continuously move( since this is nonhacking), but mine stops after 20 seconds or so , anyone here have experienced this? Anythoughts about the problem ? this have recurred several times, thanks happy 4th
Interested in a Panerai - questions.
I own a Rolex blue YM (116622) and am possibly interested in a Panerai, just to add something different. I'd like a Luminor with a date (Ideally with date bubble), an in-house movement, and a display back. From what I can tell on the website, that does not exist? The 1950's luminor does not have a date bubble and the newer versions don't seem to have a display back?
Need Advise..thanks!
Like to add a 47mm Pam into my collectionLove the 422 as the back power reserve indicator and the golden hand.Does the 47mm looks too big on my wrist or just right ? Moreover, should i get 372 instead of 422? What do u guys think? Thanks team.[IMG][/IMG]
Rolex gifts
I buy my Rolex watches from an AD that I have known for decades, and who gives me great discounts. However, they never seem to have promotional gifts of any kind. Thus, I've come to think that Rolex promotional items are bought by ADs optionally, so some dealers may have them and others don't.Does anyone know exactly what's the deal with promo gifts...?
