Pebble Time Round Watch
When it comes to the smart watch segment, you have a multitude of options these days. One of the earlier brands to hit the scene was Pebble, with their selling point being the e-ink screen that was, for one, always on and, second, made for some long battery life. All of their previous offerings have been more of a square or rectangle, which sort of conforms to the rectangular slab aesthetic we have come to expect from the phone manufacturers. When it comes to watches, there is something that just feels "more right" when it is a round case C and the folks at Pebble must agree, as they have just announced the Pebble Time Round.Round is obviously the story here - the Pebble Time Round looks more like a traditional watch. You can, of course, make it look as traditional as you would like via watch faces in their store. Of note is the e-ink screen which is in color now, rather than monochrome. Do not expect to see quite the colors an LCD would give you; instead, think of it as a way to accen
In-Depth: Introducing The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar (Live Photos, Thoughts, Official Pricing)
Jaeger-LeCoultre's 39mm Master Ultra Thin case (henceforth known at MUT) is one of my absolute favorites. It is the perfect size for me, the perfect size for a dress watch, and no matter the complication, it just works. Take, for example, two introductions in this line from the past two years - 2011's Master Ultra Thin Moon and 2012's Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon. Both of these watches are simply divine (and the latter is one of the few tourbillons I would actually wear in public without feeling like a true, well, you know what I mean). So, for 2013, Jaeger-LeCoultre has gone ahead and introduced a superb new watch in this same ultra-thin 39mm case, and it just so happens to be my favorite complication - a perpetual calendar. 2 OF 30 So what is this watch exactly? Well, it's not exactly brand new, in the sense that it uses JLC's ultra-thin modular perpetual calendar, in this case called the caliber 868. This is a self-winding perpetual with 336 pa

Oysterflex set up on my SS Ceramic Daytona
I have another thread many of you have seen, discussing the possibility of mounting an oysterflex on a daytona with end links to provide the same look of the new WG Daytona on Oysterflex. I've been documenting my process in that thread, but I've received tons of questions about the set up. I finally got it sized correctly. I'm up and running and thought it'd be nice to start a new thread just showing the watch and answering any questions about the set up.I am absolutely in love with this look, and my hope is that it will quench my thirst for that new white gold beauty.I bought the end links from our own Smartyjones18 who is a total pleasure to work with. While I wait for the correct size OF piece, I used a leather strap with the end links and the fit was super snug and perfect. While I feel the fit with the end links and OF is good, it's not perfect. If you play with the strap you can see a little bit of play in the end link, but While it's on the wrist it doesn't move at all. O
