Speedmaster Timekeeping - Seriously Impressed!
Hey all,So, I've had the Speedmaster Pro now for nearly 5 months - thoroughly enjoying wearing it, and it's been incredibly hard to get off my wrist! Love the size, love the weight, love its understated charm. And I now have another reason to love it! I don't normally pay too much attention to timekeeping, as long as I'm not having to alter the time every other day, I'm reasonably happy! I don't know what prompted me to do it (probably boredom during a quiet moment), but I thought I would set it to GMT, and see how it was getting on. Well, several days down the line, it has gained just 1 second. 1 second for a non-chronometer rated watch! I was seriously, seriously impressed - I guess Omega must have sprinkled some fairy dust on mine when they were regulating it Just thought I would share,Chris

Thinking of purchasing Panerai Luminor Marina PAM 005
Hi folks, I have been informed by local Panerai AD that they will sell me a PAM 005 Luminor marina logo version for $4,690.00 plus tax... Now I know MSRP is around $5300 and especially with increase in franc, AD is recommending I take the deal before price goes up... Is this fair price? I believe it is great deal I just want to confirm with you guys. And do you think price of Swiss watches will go up? Thanks any advice would be greatly appreciate it... Subliminal message...not sure what to do?!?
I have been giving this one some though lately. The LV aka Hulk, love this watch, but, I have also been thinking about the SD43. I don't have a black faced Rolex right now as I sold my DSSD last year. So, the fact I love the submariner, I still keep thinking about the LV. The only hold up for me right now is that have two subs currently, the 116619 (smurf) and the 116618LN black face. Neither of which I want to sell. 116618 too dressy for daily wear?
Have thought about the 116618 and wondered if it is too dressy for daily wear? I am a physician who works in a clinic. Also, I think it comes with either a sunburst blue dial or in some cases a flat blue dial with diamonds. Which looks better of those who have seen them? Thanks.
