Hands-On: The Montblanc 4810 Orbis Terrarum, A New Case Shape, Size, And Colourful Dial For The Mais
The newest version of the Montblanc "Orbis Terrarum" flew a little under the radar when it was introduced C which happens when the timing coincides with a new Annual Calendar Chronograph with a list price of $10,450. But it's still odd given the reception its predecessor received when this model first launched at SIHH 2015. 1 OF 10 Montblanc's new world timer, the 4810 Orbis Terrarum. The original Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum was exactly the kind of watch we want to see more of C a simple, yet elegant complication with an in-house module for under $7,000. So we were thrilled when Montblanc decided to show more of it, 12 months later, this time in the 4810 collection. 2 OF 10 Originally presented in a 41 mm stainless steel or red-gold case, the Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum is Montblanc's take on the classic world time function. It displays the time anywhere on earth at any given moment, thanks to an intuitive and surprisingly legible multi-layer
Incoming! 26470ST Vampire!
I'm very excited about this incoming! I have been consolidating my collection and sold 3 watches plus cash to get this one (116713LN, 79220B, TG Autavia 85th)It will for me sit proudly next to my 15400st! One dress / sport, one out and out sport / casual. When it's my turn for the 15202 I think my AP collection will be complete!
Breitling Emergency Model 2
This was brought up in a previous thread but I was wondering if anyone has this model? Or experience with it? I saw it in the AD the other day and was impressed, not by the size (which IS impressive) but the capability. Since it is now dual frequency, 406 and 121, basically anywhere in the world you activate the feature it will be picked up by satellites and quite possibly save your life. I do a lot of hiking deep in the mountains and always carry a satelite PLB with me for a life-threatening emergency, but there is nothing as convenient or as ready as having one on your wrist. I don't own a Breitling, and it is big and expensive, but if I were an Alaskan bush pilot, or forrest ranger, or anyone that spent a great deal of time in the wilderness far from help I would definitely get one of these. IMHO, Way to go Breitling!
Omega speedy reduced in the snow
Hi, Im new here... I have two fantastic omegas. The first a seamaster from 1948. Heirloom from my father. He bought it when stationed in switzerland just after the war.. He was 19 then. And the second a speedmaster reduced. I bought this one recently as a companion to my lonely seamaster! Here is a wrist shot of both. The speedmaster was taken today in the dutch snow!!!have a nice evening, pete
