AP RO debate 14500 or 26320
Hi Everybody,Been lurking here for a while, my heart is set out for an AP 14500ST or AP ROC 26320ST.But for the life of me I cannot find a proper review of the 2632.Can anybody shed some light into the matter?Thank you!
Picked up a speedy -
Well I picked up a Speedy to see if it will grow on me. Does anyone know if the is a reference of how many links are on the 12 and 6 sides. The watch came with 5 links loose. One looks like a half link. Actually I have quite some stories to share. My boss and Gen Tom Stafford are very good friends. Tom has shared quite a few wonderful Omega stories and is currently on the board of Omega. He has a Solid 18K YG speedy that was presented to him. He wears the same watch that I just picked up, SS Speedy. Thanks all.
How much did you lose on average?
Not particularly related to Patek...Since I switched from quartz to mechanical watches back in the summer of 2012 (now about 5 years), I have lost about 20 percent of what I invested so far by flipping watches. Which is on average about 4 percent per year.I calculate it as follows: amount spent on mechanical watches minus amount recuperated from selling some of them (ignoring depreciation or appreciation of the watches currently owned but also ignoring inflation or deflation of money).Using this calculation, how much did you lose so far in percentage? Curious to know what people in general lose over a longer period of time (5+ years). Please exclude non-mechanical watches (e.g. Fitbit, Apple Watch, Casio).CheersV.
SOS Cancun
Hi guys,In a cab to as we speak on way to Cancun---isn't there a dealer there? Couldn't find one via Google or Dealer Locator. Could've sworn I saw people talking about one. Thanks as always.
Rolex GMT Master ll
HiI went to the Rolex Store today to choose between the Submariner date and GMT master ll. The seller told me that most people buy the Sub vs the GMT and the the sub is a better investment Over the GMT in the long run! Is this true? By the way the GMT looked bigger on my wrist and I don't know why?
