Citizen Campanolas On The Market! Grand Complication And Perpetual Calendar On eBay: Auctions end: Nov-25-07 19:00:00 PST
Two beautiful Citizen Campanola watches available on eBay now. Each a rarity and not often available in the US. I have discussed the Citizen Campanola line at great length on this site. You know of my affinity for them. I never thought I would love a quartz watch this much. The bottom line is that you can get an amazing level of complication and beauty for a price so far below what a comparable mechanical watch is that it makes Swiss watch producers stutter. The Grand Complication is my favorite of the two, and of the watches I have reviewed here as I own one! Check out my review of the Citizen Campanola Grand Complication here. It is the watch I am wearing as I write these words, and brings me continuing joy each time I gaze upon it. Forget the generous compliments I get on this large and attractive watch, it does just about everything you could ask for.The Citizen Campanola Perpetual Calendar model takes a different approach, with a full perpetual calendar and an indicator of the elap
Most Iconic Royal Oak Offshore
Hi guys,I want to hear from you what is, in your opinion, the most iconic ROO.Would it be the first one, ref. 25721 ST, aka the beast? Or maybe the Rubberclad? And among the Limited Editions? Would it be the End of Days, the Rubens Barrichello, the Schumacher? In my humble opinion, i think the End of Days is the one.Thanks.
This may be expensive
I stopped by my local AD yesterday to try on SS Daytona with the white face. Well no shocker they didn't have one in. So the lady behind the counter asks if I am familiar with AP. I say yes and we walk over to the AP counter. She pulls out a SS ROC with the white face... I think I am in love... I had just reached a point where the 12K on the Daytona was sounding like a good idea, but I think if I go that route now I will be left wanting. sorry for the bad pic
New shoes for the 643
While the monochrome look is nice, I talked my dealer into a JV as part of the package and it finally arrived
177 or 176, be great to have feedback
Hi all... Newbie is finally in touch with a recommended dealer at reasonable pricesAs if narrowing down the options of all the different references wasn't enough - I've now got to decide on the intricacies within the individual references so I'm asking for help....Sandwich or painted??The 177 is g series paintedThe 176 is sandwich (not sure which year)I'm of the understanding both are discontinued as of 2014 to make way for the in-house movements and bigger cases to come...Is it true the base (176) is more sought after? Is the base look with sandwich more of the original panerai style? Is it true the painted g 177 is also special as then they went sandwich after this? Its a first Pam purchase... There is a 500 differential... Which way would you go??Thanks so much for taking the time
