Bring a Loupe: A Magnificent Vacheron Constantin And Many Tool Watches From Aquastar, IWC, And Universal Geneve
This week's Bring A Loupe will present to you an outstanding Vacheron Constantin with a glorious case. Then comes a round-up of great tool watches, but here is the catch - none are from Rolex. Instead we preferred to surprise you with some less expected watches from Aquastar, IWC, and Universal Geneve - all fantastic in their own right. This is your Bring A Loupe for October 9, 2015. A Rare Vacheron Ref. 4790 With An Incredible Case 1 OF 11 The case of this Vacheron Constantin deserves a good close look: I have rarely seen such an interesting build in such dreamy condition. The articulated lugs are absolutely spectacular, especially complemented by this intact case. Interestingly, the pink-gold case has a very modern 20 mm lug width, and it is almost 40 mm long, including lugs. AP RO vs ROC
I have wanted an AP for a long time (years) and will be in position to buy in the next month or 2, but I am starting to think maybe I should just wait and get the ROC vs getting an RO now... or maybe just get both So my question to you TRF would it be stupid to have both? Does anyone have both? Do you find you wear one much more than the other? My current collection is SUB, Daytona, and Speedy Pro
Nautilus Annual Production Numbers
Hi all,Since there has been so much discussion in other threads of expected 20% prices increases on steel models 5711/12, I wondered if anyone has accurate annual production numbers on any Nautilus models? I suspect the vast majority of us on this forum who own a PP have a 5167/5164/5711/5712 if not multiple.
How hard is it to get a steel Daytona?
I see it going for over MSRP on some sites, but then I see that happen with the Sub, and I've walked into stores that have it without issue. What gives? Is it regional? National? If I wanted one, but don't want to pay in excess of the $12,400 MSRP, is that realistic?
