Parmigiani Bugatti Mythe Piece Unique Watch
The Parmigiani Bugatti Mythe timepiece will be one of three piece unique watches unveiled this weekend during the Pebble Beach auto show events (Concours de Elegance), to help celebrate Parmigiani's ten-year relationship with the very high-end car maker Bugatti. It was in 2004 that the first Parmigiani Bugatti watch was released, and since then we've seen a range of highly avant garde timepieces produced via the formal agreement between the two brands. While there has been a range of Parmigiani Bugatti watches over the years the new Bugatti Mythe watch is related to the original Parmigiani Bugatti Type 370 (some images in this article). Born during a time of great horological design experimentation, the Type 370 was meant to be a very novel-looking "driver's watch." The idea being that when worn, the wearer would view the time from the side. The movement was designed to be laid out horizontally, and the entire case was meant to be reminiscent of the front hood and engine section of a cl
Well...I went ahead and did it.
Hi everyone, On my previous thread I asked for opinions on a trade (RO for Diver). Clearly opinions were divided across and many provided some sound reasons to stay put. Well I'm sure most of you can relate, once it's 'in your head' it's hard to let it go. I wearing it as I type this and I certainly feel it'll get a lot more wrist time than the RO. It definitely has a lot more presence and the AP rubber strap it's awesome! Thanks,
Anyone know Hamilton Jewelers in Red Bank NJ?
Looking to see some APs in person. Found Hamilton Jewelers in Red Bank NJ. The carry some very good brands like PP, ALS, AP, etc. also have a nice used inventory on there website. No deals though. I might get up there in a week or so to try the ROO chrono panda on (and some ALS and PPs). If anyone has experience with them let me know.
Omega SMP 300 M Chrono Diver
I am considering buying this one:(Pic from the Omega site. You can read more details about it there).Question:It states that the domed sapphire crystal is anti-reflective. Is the crystal AR coated on BOTH sides or on the inner side only?I really like the look of this watch!YES! I know I am considering so many watches, but I could not buy the Hamilton Khaki that Paul (Mailman) recently made a review of since Hamilton watches are not shipped out of the States. And I don't feel like waiting for the MKII six months.

Guys,I have been racking my head picking up a new watch for the last 6 months. I currently have a blue Omega SMPc (my daily watch). Here are my choices:A. Sell or trade in the Omega and buy a Rolex GMT II 116710LN (need the funds to purchase this piece).or B. Keep the Omega and buy a Panerai as a second piece. My dilemma is; I love Rolex as a brand (always have), but none of the pieces scream buy me (including the 116710LN). It's a great watch, but there is something about it on my 7.75 inch wrist that makes me scratch my head in doubt. In addition to my full-time job I work a side job for a high end catering staffing company. I worked an event last night and of course being a WIS my sole purpose is to check out someones wristwatch. All the younger guys (30-45) that I saw had a Rolex of some sort on. The watches they had on looked great, but nothing jumped of their wrists and said wow to me. The event was at a high end family jewelry store. They sold watches (oris, Lumin
