Cartier Calibre Watches
The big news from Cartier for 2010 is the Calibre collection of watches. While they did release a few impressive highly complex watches (not to mention a tourbillon version of the Calibre watch), those aren't going to be volume models. The Calibre will be a much more affordable timepiece with a fresh and modern look along with the Cartier name. The jewelry brand can finally satisfy the connoisseur's need for exclusive in-house movements and the brand's famous style. The movement is the 1904 MC, named for the year that Cartier made a watch for Alberto Santos Dumont, being Cartier's first wrist watch. Couple questions about AP
About to buy my first AP from a grey dealer. It's a 15400I have been sent me pictures of the warranty, etc, but I just want to make sure they are valid for the actual watch. So my questions are:1. What format should the Warranty Number be in? 3000-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX? Or XXXXXX.XXXX? I've seen both on the classified forum associated with 15400s for sale so I'm a bit confused.2. What format should the Movement Number be in? 2 letters followed by 4 numbers or 6 numbers?3. I've read on here that the warranty isn't transferable to a new owner if the watch has been registered. Is that correct and if so, how do I find out if it's been registered?Thank you so much for this information, as I am new to the brand I just want to make sure I know what I'm doing.
Beautiful day in the park .

Where are you guys finding black bay bracelets?
I see posts here and there about people putting either the first gen or second gen (riveted) bracelets on their black bays. Where are you guys getting them from? Directly from the AD? other sources? Thanks
