New Chronoliner with In-House Movement
I stopped by the NYC boutique the other day and they had a Limited Edition Chronoliner on display. The watch had their in house GMT movement, the B04, along with a blue dial and blue ceramic bezel! Absolutely gorgeous! Limited to only 100 pieces worldwide! Price as pictured was $9100. Get one while you can! Please excuse the iPhone picture!
Unique opportunity expedited my grail!
Got a call from my AD last Saturday telling me they have something for me.Long and short of it, my grail had walked in their door, a pre owned version! They know I'm a savvy buyer and would never have bought this new unless a decent discount. Watch is literally 2 months old, was sold by my AD and bought back from the AD. I wasn't going to buy this until I hit a certain financial goal but what the heck!!! Now I need a new reward lol.BeholdSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Warranty paper vs Warranty card - when did they change?
I've been looking into the time frame regarding the transition from the use of the warranty paper vs the warranty card. I can't seem to find a definite year or production serial number for when this occurred.I have found the D serial numbers with warranty papers but recently saw one with the warranty card. I haven't been able to find any other examples with D serial numbers that came with the warranty card. The D serial numbers seem to be circa 2005. The D serials were followed by the Z serial numbers. I have found examples of the Z serial numbers with either the warranty paper or warranty card - but again, not so with the D serial numbers. Any help would be appreciated. (Attaching photos with your response would be a big plus.)
Rolex Magazine Ads
I'm a newbie to this forum as I recently purchased my first Rolex, a 114060. Prior to the purchase, I spent nearly a year studying the history of the brand as I felt like it was a prerequisite for ownership. Anyway, in my research I was always drawn to the magazine advertisements of today as well at those from a half century ago. The ads are just flat out motivating. I couldn't find a thread where these were shared so here goes. What's your favorites? IMG_5227.jpgIMG_5224.JPGIMG_5236.jpgIMG_5237.jpgIMG_5225.JPGIMG_5228.jpgInstagram: TheColumbiaWatchSociety
