RIP Robin Williams, Watch Guy
No one's death is something to be taken lightly but when someone like Robin Williams dies it causes society as a whole to pause. I was personally shocked, saddened, and depressed to hear that Robin Williams took his own life yesterday, August 11, 2014. The 63 year old actor and comedian surprised the world with news of his most unfortunate passing. I think I speak for most people who can say that Robin Williams is someone that influenced their lives in more than one way.For me, Robin Williams will always be among the wild, yet intellectual, corps of comedians to come out of the 1970s and 1980s. His energy was matched only by his intelligence and ability to funnel his emotions into a host of characters, who will remain as memorable as the man who played them. I don't even think it is worth listing some of the memorable roles he played because there are so many, and each person who was lucky enough to see him perform in various ways has their own personal connection with what he meant to
Introducing: The Monsieur de Chanel: Chanel's First Dedicated Men's Watch, And It's Comp
This is an unexpected but very impressive announcement from a truly iconic brand in the fashion world C Chanel C and they unveiled a brand new, men's dedicated wristwatch called the Monsieur. Oh, and it's damn impressive. It's a jumping hour, retrograde with three-day power reserve, a great profile and stunning view from the back. Let's get into the Monsieur de Chanel now. 1 OF 4 The Monsieur de Chanel is the mark's first men's complication, and it's made entirely in-house. The Monsieur de Chanel is Chanel's first dedicated men's watch and certainly first with complication, and what makes that even more important is that it was designed and built completely in-house. And what makes that even more special is that the watch looks fantastic on both the front and the back, and wears like a dream. So what is it? Obviously this is a jumping hour watch, with a pronounced hour display at 6 o'clock. The font used here was indeed designed for this watch

Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Minute Repeater
Dear all, I am writing this in the Patek forum as some of you may already know from previous discussions (and thanks to you, I have made some happy choices), I almost only purchase Pateks. So, I came across by chance while searching for a 5110 (as you can read from my previous post), a very nice Jaeger rose gold reverso minute repeater. I sold my last rose gold grand reverso 8 days power reserve a while back as it was too big and chunky. This minute repeater is smaller, fits nicely on a standard wrist and wraps around it perfectly. My question is, I am not 100% sure of a rectangle watch anymore but I must say that this one is exceptionally nice. It is a minute repeater! And it is being offered at a price of a brand new 5711! So, my rational side is telling me that this is an offer of a lifetime to get a minute repeater, my realistic side tells me, this is a very very difficult watch to offload in the future. Could I please have your thoughts on this?Thank you.Have a good weekend to all
Trade 233 for bp chrono??
Hi everyone, I'm considering trading my 'dot' 233 for this BP. Frankly, I feel the 233 it's not getting the wrist time it deserves, so my eyes have started to 'wonder'. Plus I wouldn't mind adding a chrono as I currently don't have one in my small collection. Your thoughts? Thanks,***No my pic of the Blancpain.
