Seamaster 300 build 166.024
Was thinking about sourcing a 565 movement to send to archer watches to be built into a 166.024 seamaster 300 using new omega parts. I realize that the watch would appear new and even though its heart would be fully serviced it would still be around forty years old. My concern would be the resale value on something like this should I decide that I wanted to sell in the future. Do any of you omega guys have any advice, suggestions, or guesstimate on a value for something like this?
Show us your vintage!
Here is my vintage automatic Omega Seamaster which I believe is circa early 1960's unless anyone can tell me otherwise?Let's see yours!
Nautilus turns 40 in 2016... will we see the return of the true jumbo?
Maybe sans the running seconds.... Hmmm... with the platinum 5711 already the king of the nautilus curious what Mr. Stern will do...
Incoming straps from Rob Montana
TheStrapSmith nails it again - magnificent! Now the dilemma... what to wear?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No more steel Subs in 2018?!
On another watch forum, a couple of gentlemen are propagating the rumor that steel Subs will be discontinued in 2018, to be replaced with white gold special edition versions. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?I'm incredulous myself, but considering the massive steel Sub shortage and also the fact that Rolex had the audacity to make a watch as iconic as the Pepsi GMT into an exclusively PM model, I cannot say I would be entirely surprised.Thoughts? Opinions? Has anyone here also encountered these rumors? Cheers!
