Jaeger-LeCoultre Climbers Scale Himalayan Peak
They made it! On October 28, the climbers reached the top. St��phane Schaffter, a Swiss alpinist, Lhakpa Tenzing Sherpa (known as Apa Sherpa) who has a record 19 Everest ascents under his belt, and Little Karim Balti, who has accompanied many sportsmen on expeditions above 8,000 meters, scaled the virgin peak, and as the first to the top, they named it Antoine LeCoultre's Peak. The mountain raises 6589 meters, or 21,617 feet above sea level. They were each wearing a Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece: a 1958 Geophysic Chronometer, a Master Compressor Extreme Lab, and a new and as yet undisclosed extreme creation prepared by the Manufacture workshops in the Vall��e de Joux. Suunto recently introduced an entry level dive computer that they're calling the D4. It's not as complex as either the D9 or the Vyper we covered previously; rather, Suunto describes it as "the introductory model in the Suunto diving line". When you're talking about Suunto, however, even "introductory" means an astounding number of features for both SCUBA divers, and free divers.

Bergeon 7825 work on Omega Speedmaster??
Hi all - I have a Bergeon 7825 that I use to make frequent strap changes on my rolex sub. Looking to pick up an Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch in near future, and plan to change up frequent straps on this one as well, but want to do so without scratching my new Speedy up in the process. Am curious as to whether the 7825 will work on the Speedmaster or will I need a new strap changing tool? Any thoughts from someone with experience with this particular question would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

Patek/Geneva Pictures
In my incoming thread for my 5116R someone had asked to see any pictures I wanted to share from my recent visit to Patek. These were a few I felt had value, I wanted to make sure the only people appearing in the pictures are Patek employees.imgur/a/YHcOiI didn't really take a lot of pictures of watches on the trip, I'm not a big picture taker, but I did get a picture of one of the Grandmaster Chimes alongside a 6300G. You probably can't see too often unless you're one of the 5 people that owns a 5175 so I couldn't resist taking this one picture.We did get to hear the minute repeater on the 6300G.It's odd, but the loudest minute repeater on a wrist watch we heard during the entire trip was actually a 7000R. It was as loud as the pocket watches for some reason.
