Watches NEWS
So I tried this today. Heart is still racing and I must have it.
I finally got to try this beauty on.These pictures don't do the dial or the watch any justice. She is an absolute stunner. The 15202 is just something different. How do you think she wears on my puny 6.25 wrists?I found the 15450 37mm to be too small. Personally think this watch fits really well, and the thin case really helps as well.I am trying to stay patient so that I can save some more money for a few more months before I pull the trigger on my 25th Birthday this November.I keep trying to tell myself to wait because it will feel better after the wait, but I am not sure if I will be able to.I have yet to try the Patek 5711 which was the contender for me, but after trying this, I don't even know if I want to try the Nautilus. The Jumbo is just incredible! Also have had several people tell me the 5711 would be more suitable for a person of an older age; Not sure I agree. Here are the pics. Tell me how you think she wears on my wrists. Thank you for reading!
Which AP should be the first AP?
Hello,I'm working on figuring out which should be my first. I lean towards the larger models because my wrist can handle it, have a few Panerai 47mm and no problems there. Wrist is about 7.5. Any suggestions? - I am gravitating towards the old safari or steel diver on bracelet. Thanks!
Impact of replacement cases on valuation
Hi all,Just wanted to get an expert's opinion on this as I can't seem to find a clear quantitative answer online (other than all-original, triple-signed watches being generally more valuable). If I were to buy a Patek with an original movement and dial, but a replaced case, by how much should I haircut the original value, and how much would that impact its potential resale value? The new case is in 18-kt gold, also Swiss-made, if that matters. The condition is great otherwise. Thanks all! Cathy
strap excesswhat do you think???

A question for Submariner and sea dweller owners
I have a black submariner with date and whenever I look at the black dial and bezel of a sea dweller I can't help but think it is basically the same watch. Yes I see the red line of text that says sea dweller and I admit it really pops and looks great. Both watches are awesome. But overall they just seem like the same watch or nearly the same watch. Yes I know there are some subtle differences such as the movement, size, depth rating etc. Rolex has so many different styles of watches in different colors and designs my question to those that own both of these watches is:What is it that inspired you to buy both a submariner AND a sea dweller?
