VIDEO: That Time A. Lange & S?hne's Director Of Products Explained The Zeitwerk Minute Repeater While Slaying It On The Drums
The Zeitwerk Minute Repeater – Lange's first chiming watch under $2,000,000 – is easily one of the most buzzed about watches of the year. We introduced you the thoughtful taking on the repeater in January of this year here. Now that the watch is hitting stores, Lange has produced a fun look at this dream watch thanks to Tony de Haas, head of product development – who also happens to play a mean set of drums. Thinking about selling my Speedy Pro for a GMT II - Thoughts?
Hi guys,I've been lurking for a while but finally decided to post a thread and seek some guidance. I have a modest watch collection that began with the purchase of my Speedy Pro in 2007. It was somewhat of a whim, but it's been my almost daily wearer for 7 years. The fact that it has such a unique history (flight qualified by NASA! It says so on the case back after all ;) ) has been a reliable conversation starter for me (I even talked it up on my first date with my now wife -- if she thought I was a nut she never let on). The 16710 GMT II has always been a favorite of mine, and now I'm feeling a pull towards it. I like my Speedy but it isn't a perfect daily watch; it's a little clunky, a little uncomfortable, and the hesalite crystal gets scratched way too easily. I've also never worn it to go swimming because part of me never trusted the non screw down crown. If I got a pre-loved 16710 it would take the place of my Speedy and be an everyday watch. I'd wear it to work, to the golf cou
Dress Casual PP 5205r/g vs 5712r?
I had previously expressed a lack of enthusiasm for my 5167r. After more time and a Christmas week at the beach, swimming, riding waverunners, etc. I realize it is a great casual watch - beautiful in the sun and tremendously comfortable and can work for going out to dinner in a resort environment. As a next PP I'm thinking about a 5712r or 5205r (cream dial) for dress casual situations - this would replace a rose gold IWC 3904 chrono classic in my rotation. Am leaning towards the 5205r but wondering if this is too dressy and I tried on the 5712r yesterday and it was very nice and more different from the 5167r than I expected. Also saw the 5205g-010 (black dial) and thought it was striking and with the matte black strap/gray stitching a perfect dress casual piece. However I wear a gold wedding ring and my wife notices when I mix metal. Also wonder if the two tone dial will stand the test of time.Would appreciate thoughts/advice. Happy new year to all.
Rolex collection balance
I was wondering how your rolex collections balance out. I own two. I own one for play and one for daily timekeeping. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
