Omega Moonphase Speedy 3576.50 pics?
Hi, I was just wondering if any here have the Moonphase Speedy 3576.50 Cal 1866 and can post some wrist pics of it? Were only 3000 of these made in 2003?Here's an impulse buy I made on one for my X'mas gift and as my first Omega:), will be posting wrist pics when I return from vacation! Thanks
incoming gifts
My AD is going to offer me golf bag and 5088P cufflinks for me as gifts. I do not ask for golf bag because it is large and cost more for shipping, But Jamie decide to offer it to me.I am very happy to receive the incoming new gifts. cufflinks-s.jpg
514
soooooo i received a package in the post today (and yes i'm sorry for the crappy iphone photos)The new panerai 514 47mm steel 1940 case with the hand wound p3000 movement. First impression, suddenly it's panerai almost making a sensible normalish watch.I tend to wear only the 47mm models (with one exception) so here it is with the rest of the collectionFor a 47mm panerai it's thin, here is it compared to the 448the 372and the 368Also the face is the same size as the 448, i was expecting it to much more similar to the 372 as the cases are a similar designWhen i first saw the press release photos, i wasn't that impressed, i didn't like the date, i wasn't sure about the subdial. But actually what they've made is a very wearable everyday panerai, something with all the grace and simple design of panerai but in a more usual format. I suspect this is going to become my everyday wear to the office watch. The interesting bit is the strap changing, for the 1940 models, panerai has going over to
114060 as an everyday tool watch.
Have a question for those with the No Date Submariner. I love the idea of having a watch that I can literally wear all the time in every condition. Are late model Subs still designed around durability and hard wear or have they shifted more to the luxury side? I'm not some crazy extreme sports guy but I do a fair amount of travel and water sports. Would love to have a watch that's always on my wrist for the next 20 years.Sorry if this is the dumbest question ever.
