Where there's a will, there's a way...AP 15300
This is one hard watch to find these days....but I'm finally proud to be a new owner of a 15300! Since none of the forums sellers had it, I had to turn to the ADs. After calling more than half the dealers from AP's site yesterday, when one of them said: yes, we do have that one....I knew right there I would finally own one, and after a wire transfer and day later, it's on my wrist.I had tried the 15400, it's an amazing watch, but the way it sat on my wrist I felt it was too big. I absolutely love this watch, very comfortable so far, light weight, love the AP logo at the 12 o clock.My first AP and more to come...Now should I get the rose gold, black dial with black strap as well....?

Rolex 18038 ��normal�� black dial premium?
Hey all,I'm wondering, is there something special about a Rolex Day Date 18038 with a normal black dial with stick markers ? There's one going on ebay now which seems to be selling at a premium compared to those in champagne dials. Currently at $6400 bid. The champagne ones are around the 5k mark. Hmm. Am I missing something?
Another great heirloom story
So my father surprised me yesterday. I had asked if he still had my Grandfathers Rolex as I wanted to see it and perhaps share photos with you other Rolex nerds. Well he finally found it and long story short it has passed down one more generation. I don't know anything about it aside from my Grandfather was gifted it after he finished building the main hospital in Valetta, Malta in the 1950's If any of you know what model it is and value please chime in. Also i would like to have the movement checked out. It does run, after a couple turns of the crown but if the moment isn't A ok i don't want to cause damage.
Will 580 endlinks fit on non SEL 78790?
Hello all,Just wondering if 580 endlinks will fit on a 78790 with a X clasp code. I believe 78790 typically come with 501b but I want to fit on a 1016 which uses 580s.Thank you,Corey
