ROC chrono actuation
ROC owners,Couple questions:- How do the chronograph subdials actuate on your watch? I just got my ROC (25860)back from service and noticed that chrono subdials sweep rather than tick. I think they used to tick in a swift motion upon completion of a minute (30 mins for the hour dial), but I could be wrong. Also, hour chrono dial move early at 25 mins rather than 30. Can somebody post or point me to a video of chrono actuation?- What happens if I leave the chronograph running all the time to use its long hand as a second hand? Would it harm the watch in any way? Thoughts?I just got my royal oak chrono back from Clearwater sevviing.
help me decide next purchase :) 15202R vs 5164R or 5167R
I have several APs (T3 grey dial, FC ROO 44 Novelty, RB2 RG) and I was thinking of adding something dressier.. My initial choice was Jumbo 15202 in RG, then yesterday on the plane back from Mexico saw a gentleman sporting a Patek Aquanaut 5167R.. I like the Aquanaut but I prefer the Dual time version and then by accident yesterday I saw they announced a 5164R.What do you guys think? The only thing I'm wary is the chocolate dial and brown strap, I'm more of a black color guy.. So to cut it short:15202 RG vs 5167R? Thank you

New Ellipse
So what do you think for the upcoming Ellipse anniversary considering the discontinuation of the 3738 in all metals but not of the 5738P? A not so bold guess would be three new 5738 in G, R and J. Or maybe a totally new ref in similar size and probably sapphire back. The 240 is very beautiful so that would be very nice.What are your guesses and hopes?Pic of my 3738/100J. Henkan
5167 in Canada
Hello.My 40th bday is coming up and I am looking for 2nd watch which will complement my Rolex SD4K. I've been thinking about getting JLC Reverso or AP Royal Oak either in 37mm or 39mm. But lately I have been looking at pics of Patek 5167 and I am totally in LOVE with that thing.a) Does anyone know which Canadian AD has this watch in stock? b) What is MSRP in CAN$? c) Is it realistic to get some discount?
