Swatch Switches Gears, Plans Smart Watch, Says Wall Street Journal
For the longest time, Swiss executives had pretended that the looming Smartwatch category would have little effect on their business. But today, the Wall Street Journal reports that Swatch will add fitness capabilities to some of its touch line of watches. The products will be first shown in 2015. Decision made
Have been contemplating a new addition for quite a while and finally found one that trips my trigger.Just received an email from my favorite dealer confirming the order.I have no idea when it might arrive but over the years, I've learned that patience is the greatest virtue of WISdom.

I'm guessing because this is a 42mm Ceramic Bezel watch it's designed for Gents. I don't see any threads about it though...show me some shots and feedback please!

Saw the new PO 8500 today
HDNTER and I checked out a couple places today including a new Omega boutique and the owner had the new PO 8500 with black bezel and silver numbers in 45.5MM as well as the orange bezel with orange numbers in 42MM. I never had an interest in an orange bezel watch and still don't. I do like the ceramic bezel on the black and silver PO but just as I feared, I did not like how the numbers black out in certain light. I do like the shade of black of the dial on the 8500 better than my 2500 PO. The clear case back was a nice addition as well. One thing that was noticeable to me was the increased thickness of the case needed for the 8500 movement. I did not find this a good thing and it begins to make the watch a bit top heavy. And if I am honest, the changes did not wow me enough to part with my PO 2500. I do think it is nice though but it's just not for me.

Datejust 41 (126300) Smooth or Fluted with NATO?
Want to buy DJ 41 (126300), one white DJ41 and another blue DJ41. Planning on using NATO straps for both. Question: Cannot decide between both smooth or both fluted bezels with NATO on DJ41. Help me decide. Thanks! Anyone have pics of DJ 41 on NATO or experienced answer? Thanks again. *Not interested in doing one of each:)
