Buben & Zorweg Magnum Luxury Watch Safe
Since its establishment in 1995, Buben & Zorweg has transformed from a small firm producing packaging for high-end timepieces and jewelry into a manufacturer of watch winders, fine mechanical watches and - since 2008 - luxury safes as well. This time we are looking at the brand's latest safe called the Magnum, designed to be a solution for (nearly) all problems of the concerned watch collector.Safes play a subservient role most of the time. They are heavy, cold, uniform and (mostly) uninteresting objects which only serve to protect the rare, the unique, the brittle and the priceless that is stored inside. The problem this creates is the stark contrast between the aesthetics, the sentiment and the general 'mood' represented by ordinary safes and the invaluable objects which they are meant to keep secure. Nomos Introduces the Tetra Neomatik
Nomos is a brand that should need little introduction on w&w. A staff and crowd favorite, Nomos' watches exude style, elegance and value like no other brand. This ultra-thin automatic suggested a lot of great things to come, watches that would maintain the pure lines and restrained case dimensions of their existing hand-wound watches, but add the convenience of rotor winding. In the year that followed, Nomos released a line within most of their lines called "neomatik" which added the 3001 movement as an option alongside other hand-wound calibers. Available in two color ways per watch line, kind of a classic silver as well as a peachier champagne. So, for example, there are now multiple automat
15400 on oem rubber
Fancied a change so got the strap changed over at the local apsc. Certainly comfy so far and much lighter. Quite a different feel Colour wise it's harder to match a silver dial. Here's the black and I have navy rubber on order too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Renderings vs real life
Has anyone seen an AP that looks gorgeous in the renderings or stock photos only to be disappointed when seeing it in real life? On the flip side has an AP ever caught your eye at the boutique that you never noticed in the catalogue or website because it didn't stand out?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
