Orient Disk Review
Today we have in for review the Disk by Orient, a fun and youthful watch with unique design elements that help it really stand out. The Disk makes use of some simple, but clever functionality on the dial to impressive effect, while maintaining a simple, sleek aesthetic. It further differentiates itself from other watches with a similar design aesthetic by being an automatic. More often than not, especially at the sub-$250 price point, watches like the Disk are quartz and marketed squarely at a non-watch enthusiast market.? Not the case with the Disk. So, for the more discerning buyer, how does the Disk stand up?Case: Steel with IP coatingMovement: ORIENT caliber 48743 automaticDial: BlackLume: NoLens: MineralStrap: Steel with IP coatingWater Res.: 50mDimensions: 41.4x47mmThickness: 11.3 mmLug Width: 22mmWarranty: 1 year International GuaranteePrice: $340 or $238 (30% off) with coupon code "wornandwound"DialThe Orient Disk features a rather unique and effective implementation of a sandw
AP ROO Safari or Panerai Pam569?
I don't know if I am just getting an itch to get something new but I went to the boutique and tried on the Panerai Pam569. I thought it was just a beautiful watch! It is one of those watches that doesn't photograph well but on the wrist, it's just a different story! So with that being said, I don't want to keep both the AP and Panerai. I want to keep one or the other...I already have the Safari. My question is, would you get rid of it to acquire a 569?I already know what the AP section would say and I am curious to what this forum thinks...TIA.Frank

About the dial on the new SD 50 aniv
Hi guys. Long time no post here. I have a question for those of you who have seen the new 50 aniv SD in the flesh. Does it have a glossy or a mate dial. Is it the same mate dial as it's predecessor or is glossy. Sorry if this question has been answered before but I couldn't find any response in the posts that I could find.Best Mario
116610LN owner, but eying the hulk...
Recently, I have been considering trading in my 116610LN + cash for a hulk. Have any other fellow ceramic sub owners made this trade? Have you regretted it? I own a classic speedmaster and several vintage seiko black-dialed divers, and I'm thinking that a pop of green could be a nice touch to my collection.Thoughts?
