Dubey & Schaldenbrand, the boutique Swiss watch brand founded by Georges Dubey and Rene Schaldenbrand in 1946 and known for its art deco design, has announced its return to North America in 2012. Owner Jonatan Gil, who bought the company in 2009, has established Dubey & Schaldenbrand Americas, which will distribute the brand in the U.S. and Canada.The Dubey & Schaldenbrand Americas team is made up of members of the Daaboul family; father Maurice, son Christopher and daughter L��a. Maurice Daaboul is a 30-year veteran of the watch and jewelry industry and has been an international overseas distributor for brands such as Universal Gen��ve, Breitling, Favre Leuba, Fortis, and Eterna. AP royal oak day date moonphase
Hi all, I'm new to the AP brand and not very familiar with their full catalogue yet, but my research has brought me to spot a particular model which I think is a real beauty! The article in question states this a 1984 APRO day/date moonphase and I was hoping to get more information about the model. Would anyone know what specific model this is? Or even better yet, any members here own this particular watch? Does it have a transparent case back? How would a 30 year old AP hold up in terms of accurate and reliability? Is there a similar currently model, and what would be the pricing difference between new and vintage? Thanks!

Input needed about Pam 557 and 2 contenders
I have an opportunity to buy a brand new PAM 557 with a very good price, I had before the PAM 372, but the Crown Guard bather me a bit on the wrist due to case size, so its seems that this 557 is the perfect solution.I just want a have one Panerai Luminor, on my box. Other contenders are PAM 422 and PAM 233 (DOT Dial, K series). The PAM 557 is brand new and the 422 and 233 are used.Resale is very important to me as well, Any of these have better resale than the others ?Thanks
