Loiseau 1f4 Watch
The coolest part of this ultra-complex watch called the 1f4 is really tough to notice unless you are looking for it. Even though this timepiece is double-sided (quite literally and I will get to that), it is an automatic. The spinning rotor of the watch is placed in the bezel, actually both bezels. You see, the bezels are actually made out of sapphire crystal. Under them is a spinning piece of 18k gold (available in various gold colors) that is the rotor. The only problem is that the transition between the sapphire and the rotor is so smooth you can't even tell they are different. So to inform you that something is actually spinning, each rotor has a single inset diamond that spins around. This little feature is the beginning of one of the most technically sophisticated timepieces on the planet. My hands-on experience is with an unfinished 1f4 prototype. While it is mostly completed the lighter dial side is not get done. It still has additional finishing to receive as well as at least o
1499 on JV strap
Gari at the PANERAI boutique in Vegas was nice enough to switch out the strap on a 1499 to the nubuck alligator for me see. Really changed the entire look of the watch and really has me considering applying my winnings of the week (LOL) on this beauty!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Today I dropped by a local Rolex AD trying my luck getting another SD43 but there was no such thing, their SS sport display is very thin....But I walked away with few Rolex goodies. To share the wealth, I have an extra copy of the WatchTime Rolex Special Report to give away, it's free to the 1st person who responses to this thread with a pix of his/her Rolex on the wrist with today date (the 23rd).US shipping only please
Welcome New GMT Pepsi... Welcome...
A reader of the Forum commented that the new GMT is going to be the preferred model of the Rolex catalog and it will be very difficult to achieve. But it would be a Rolex error if it deliberately does not deliver the appropriate amount. What I do believe is that all sports models except the SS Daytona Cerachrom will be terribly affected. All, without exception. Time will tell if I'm wrong. What I'm sure will increase terribly and the price of the old Rolex GMT Pepsi. IMHO.Another person said that Rolex takes care of its customers. I do not think so. How many people bought the GMT Master Pepsi in white gold and now realize that it has an obsolete movement. What value will that watch keep?Greetings guys.
Daytona Daily Precision
Hi this is my first post one this forum. Just picked up a 116500LN Black in the grey market, love the watch. I was just wondering how precise these watches are for actually telling time. I set the watch to the atomic clock and it seems to be running about 3-4 seconds slow per day , which doesn't seem like a lot but I see on the Rolex website:PRECISION-2/+2 sec/day, after casingI am hoping to also get a White face as well, but that one I am on wait list that for so could be a long time. Thanks
