Romain Jerome Space Invaders Ultimate Edition Watch For Sale Online Only
In 2011, Romain Jerome announced a new co-operation with Taito, the Japanese company that originally manufactured its famous Space Invaders arcade game starting in the late 1970s. At this point, Romain Jerome's approach to blending watch design with different hobbies, historically important events and other, totally?non-horology related things is well known.?A few years ago, we went hands-on?with the Romain Jerome Space Invaders watch,?and today, we are looking at what the brand calls the Romain Jerome Space Invaders Ultimate Edition C a limited edition of just five pieces per color,?all exclusively available at the brand's eBoutique online. There are other watches, even by Romain Jerome, that?try to in one?way or another perpetuate a historically relevant and inimitable moment C such as the landing on the moon, the first?ever powered flight, the fall of the Berlin wall, etc. Here?that inimitable moment is?that of?the last Alien Invader being destroyed by the laser cannon C a more e
First Omega In Da House, What a Beauty!!
Ok my Peeps, like most of you, we tend to favor the Rollie models for our addiction but the new Omega PO Master Chronograph in Steel & Sedna 18K Gold with its Blue Ceramic Bezel/Dial really sang to me. Ref.215.20.46.51.03.001.At 45.5mm it's perfect for my 7.5 wrist, but not for everyone since it is a beefy, in-your-face piece of beauty. Love the open case-back that shows the new Calibre 9900 engine, which btw is spot on and can definitely hang with the other brand. Lume is killer and like the fact that the Sedna gold portion of bracelet is also brushed and not so easily scratched like my Bluesy. It's not a piece that you will see often in the wild, which adds to the attraction, so overall it's a WINNER in my book, which after-all is what counts!! Thanks for looking and Peace my Peeps,Maarten
Servicing Advice On Vintage Omega Constellation
Hi All, My first post on this forum - looking forward to gleaning and sharing as much info with everyone :)I have just recently started to enjoy the intricacies of watchmaking and am becoming an avid student of watches.I recently acquired a vintage Omega Constellation (1972 i am told but will get more details soon when i take it in for service).Just wondering if anyone can give advice on where i should take this to get serviced in the Sydney Australia region.I have been told that Omega actually do not service their watches in house anymore and just send it off to other experienced servicing centres in town. If this is the case, I am considering taking it directly to one of these service centres to cull the costs. Any thoughts or advice? Also, i will be taking photos of this watch soon to post up for all to enjoy :)I also inherited an old Cyma which i will post details of soonThanks in advance guys and girls
