Was fathers day in UK last sunday so my wife surprised me with how tie Bow tie lesson with wine over fortnum & mason followed by lunch....Was going to wear 15400 but decided on the bee....
PP5396 - any love?
I really like the PP5396R. Very classic dial, modern size and a very useful annual calendar complication. I think all these combined make it a perfect dress watch. However, watch guys I talk to generally dont seem to have much love for the piece and all the ADs seem to have a few pieces available all the time. Am I missing something? Why is this refernce (arguably) not as desirable?
Thoughts on the 5496P ?
My local dealer took in a 5496 a few weeks ago and I tried it on today. I really like it, but even at the second owner price it is a sobering amount for a watch that doesn't seem to get a lot of love. Anyone care to sway my opinion one way or the other?
