RO with roman numerals
I saw somebody wearing what it looked like a Jumbo (thin) with black dial and roman numerals at 6 and 9,seemed really thin and pretty sure 39mmAnyone seen it? What is it?Just wondering.
Getting an old LE pre-owned piece checked out
I'll looking at getting a hard to find, decade old LE RO. I'm told by an established, non-AD, seller of pre-owned watches that they have one that's in excellent condition -- but in this world, I need more reassurance than that. There's a 10-day return policy on the watch. Is there a way to have the watch fully inspected by AP for authenticity and internal condition in a 10-day window? I'd imagine there's no chance at getting it to-and-from Clearwater from NY in a 10-day window. Do you know if they do this at the AP boutique here in NY?
Is possible to polish the sunburst case of a mark 2?
I have a Mark 2 that has a scratch (not deep) on its case, but the case has the sunburst finish, and here in Brazil no one wants to touch that kind of finish. Omega boutique said maybe in swiss but not sure. Anyone had this similar issue? Thanks!
Screws/pin on new Omega Bracelets
What is the deal with the hybrid screw/pin on the new Omega bracelets? Does this combination serve a specific purpose? The screws are so tiny and are difficult to manipulate. I'm not sure why omega didn't use one solid screw (like Rolex) to connect the links. Anyone have any ideas?Sorry if this has been discussed before, I did a cursory search and didn't find anything on par at least via the thread title. Thanks friendsSteve
