One of my favorite places in the world is the Monterey Bay area along the central coast of California. I've regularly traveled to Monterey and adjacent cities such as Carmel-by-the-Sea and Pebble Beach since I was a child - perpetually enjoying the natural beauty and particular events found in the region. Each August, "Classic Car Week" fills the streets, hotels, and almost every venue, with people coming to town for the Concours d'Elegance, as well as related events which are all about celebrating (as well as buying and selling) beautiful and distinguished automobiles. For quite some time now, the official sponsor of the Concours and other events, such as that at the Mazda Speedway at Laguna Seca and the Quail Lodge show is Rolex watches. Incoming Seamaster 300
I celebrated not winning the Explorer giveaway by getting this second hand Seamaster 300 from DavidSW.The previous owner has brushed the centre links of the bracelet which I prefer. Is the Patek 5205 a dress watch?
Conventionally, dress watch should be very slim so it can hide under the sleeves and be very basic two or three hands, mostly no date. My 5205 strictly speaking doesn't seems to be fit that category. But it does fits under a shirt sleeve. The Calatravas are the official dress watch line for PP. So what is the 5205? Casual watch? Sports watch? What do you think?
