AP 15400 Water Resistance
Hi just curious how the WR holds up for current owners. Do you swim with your 15400? Or would you ever? I am a little surprised that it is only 50m with a screw down crown. Many other brands provide for 200m with a screw down crown and sapphire case back. I hope to see this watch in my future and while I do not plan to go diving with it I would like to know it could withstand a gentle dip in a pool? Many thanks for your comments.
Incoming: Omega Speedmaster 9300
Just picked up the Omega Speedmaster 9300, 44.25 mm. I have owned this watch before and liked the size and look as well as the 9300 movement. I have always found the Omega bracelets to be somewhat deficient when compared to Rolex but it is not a deal killer. As I have re-geared my collection lately I wanted a Panerai and an Omega. I purchased a Panerai 422 last week and decided to go all in and bought this Speedy. I now have Rolex, Tudor, Tag Heuer, Panerai, Omega and Seiko represented. I am going to wear this Omega on the metal for awhile but will put it on a NATO and leather soon enough.
Is it just me with my AD...
I am starting to learn that a lot of people have serious trouble getting SS Subs/GMTs and Daytona watch models. I have no prior with my AD, minus parent history. I emailed him about coming in this weekend to look at YM Rhodium vs SS Sub with date. He said no problem I have them both for you... same AD who let me try on a black/white Daytona (albeit he said it was already sold )...buuuut I think I could convince to sell it to me.My only leverage is that I told him I would buy my girlfriend's engagement ring from him which is still a year plus away...Is this a complete anomaly?
BLRO 18K white gold blue dial?
Ok, I'm confused. So you can no longer get the BLRO 18K white gold with the traditional black dial? It's now blue? Does anyone like this? Can I just get a steel Pepsi with a black dial and an oyster bracelet already!!?? GEEZ!! 🤬
Anyone wonder why Rolex didn't update the current GMTs?
I wish Rolex had put the 3285 in all the GMTs instead of just that wonderful new Pepsi. The current crop is now much less desirable given that they have an old movement that's surely going to get replaced. As anyone read or heard anything about an update?
