Trade for AP ROO Chrono
Hi All,i am in major dilemma and I need your help and suggestion.Should I trade my Rolex Daytona White dial (116520), Submariner (!4060M) and Explorer 2 Black (16570) for AP ROO Chrono Navy brand new?I am dig the look of the AP for quite some time now and I am afraid that I will regret for doing this. What do you think guys? Am I crazy enough to swap 3 watches into 1 watch?
quite some Patek related threads going on
therefore this one :-)This is imo the most beautifull watch they made the last decade(s)It is just perfect. If you love chonographs this is the Holy Grail. Superb case, amazing dial, 42 mm so imo a great size. Not too small like most PP but than again not a silly 50 mm. Big or small wrist, 42 mm can be worn by anybody. And ofcourse let's not forget the wonderfull finished movement. So, to answer a question from another thread 'why does somebody buy a patek ? well, imo it it THE brand to get.15 or 20 years ago I started with 1 Rolex. The SS submariner. I saved a lot for that submariner because I still went to school, so I earned it with some jobs i did after school and during weekends.I think I saved almost 1 year LOLAnyway, years later i bought more watches , mostly sportswatches.I went to AD who sold Patek because I worshipped Patek but didn't feel old enough to buy one yet (I was around 25 years)I had the feeling a Patek was like a Jaguar, great but not when you're 25 :-)If I had t
Sub Date 2012 serviced or 2014 mint?
Hello.I'm very new here so I apologise in advance for any daft questions I might ask. With that said here's my first:I'm looking to buy a Submariner Date with the intention of it being the watch that'll be with me forever. My only wish is that it comes with the glide lock bracelet (everything I've read seems to suggest they're really very nice), so which year doesn't bother me so much as the condition.I'm looking at a few and have seen one that's from 2012 but was serviced by Rolex December last year (comes with official service receipt so is guaranteed until dec 2019 I believe),The other/s are 2014/15 and appear to all be in mint' condition. What I would like your advice on is whether you'd go for the recently officially serviced or the newer watch? Also, are the guarantees transferable or only applicable for the person named on the guarantee? Many thanks in advance for any advice, it'd be truly welcomed.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Am I the only one who likes the all black GMT better than the black/blue?
The all black is more versatile and classic in my opinion and simply more beautiful.Somehow I think that the shortage of the BLNR is affecting people's perception. What do you think?I'm thinking about getting a GMT for my travels to compliment my daily wear sub and I would always go for the all black. Protective Sticker: How long
Heya TRFers,How long did your protective sticker last before you noticed that there were still a few unpeeled ones? I thought I had all of it removed when I bought mine a year ago. I noticed this when I was lightly brushing and rinsing my watch.Even their stickers are quality water resistant!cheers,
