Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Extra-Thin Watch
As there is a deep place in my heart for wild and complex watches, so too is there is place in my heart for the tasteful and simple. Honestly, some days you want a watch that soothes and elevates, as opposed to one that boggles the mind. The Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Extra-Thin is really a poster child timepiece of the new movement towards simple, minimalistic, think watches. If you can afford it, this watch is a stunner. Priced at just under $20,000.Read my full article on the Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Extra-Thin watch at Haute Living here.

The Ultimate Carbon
The Millenary Carbon One Tourbillon Chronograph with 10-day Power ReserveExtremely light weight at less than 70g, it is worthy of a good quality apartment. Strapped it on the wrist, and I felt giddy... I think I need a check up for weak heart soon (uh-oh)

Shock resistance of seamaster 300 master co axial
Anyone know the tolerances of the shock resistance? Dropped my new LE Spectre seamaster 300 about 3 or 4 feet onto carpet. Was not a hard hit, but saw it lost time after. The watch has been a little unpredictable - was loosing about a second a say when I got it, put on a winder started gaining about a second + or so a day. Then after one night, gained like 7 seconds in 12 hours. I then Let it run down and rest it and it was running +/- .02 seconds, then lost about .6 seconds in 5 1/2 hours after drop. This has th new Si14 balance spring. Any thoughts/experiences?
