Contessa by Eterna - Women's Watch 2009
Contessa by Eterna - Women's Swiss Watch modelIt's very hard to please a woman. Especially when we come armed with knowledge, taste, and high expectations. It must be even more difficult for such a traditional manufacture to create a dynamic timepiece for modern women that includes technological performance and aesthetic appeal. But I must admit that Eterna has done just that with its latest Contessa models.Since 1865, the watchmakers of Eterna have toiled to maintain their image of perfection and selectivity. The exclusivity of this brand makes it that much more desirable. Known for the precision of their slim movements, Eterna is brand that stays true to itself and its traditions, even in today's fluctuating markets.Eterna - Nothing But Watchmaking - was able to create a dynamic, versatile timepiece that is distinctively feminine yet a still a fine timepiece. Blue 300m SMP on NATO?
Anyone have any pics? I'm thinking of buying a grey one. I've found a couple of places to purchase them online through recommendations on the forum, but i'm not quite sure of the lug size. 22mm?
Hate Panerai !!!!
I will get right to the point here. I am a large collector and I have always disliked-hated Panerai watches. I have everything besides Panerai. They always seemed overpriced and plain. What changed? Why do I want it so bad?I think after having all the others my addiction is in full force. There is something about the brown strap and the tobacco dial that screams to me and forces me to withdraw money from my account. I have news for you folks I bought one and the postman is going to be here by 3pm! I am fired up to get this piece!!! This morning my wife said to me Why do you have that stupid grin on your face? What did you buy now? I've never seen that grin-smirk that big before She's about to find out what that smirk is all about in just a few hours here!!
Look What I Found....
And it only took me a couple of weeks.....
So my 116610LN finally arrived...
I was about to quit on this one. In fact, I did kinda quit by cancelling my order and requesting the refund of the deposit. The shop had estimated 1-2 months but was taking 3 already. Strangely, when I tried to cancel, a unit became available almost immediately. Here are some photos... got it on the 15th..4 days ago. Haven't even taken it outside yet. Things:-Was indeed new and the warranty is almost fully complete. Warranty card was filled in 3.5 month ago at an AD.-I had requested the bracelet resize, but later told them not to do it. They did it anyway. But the job seems good, screws look perfect and the size is OK, I think the clasp is actually very close to being perfectly centered. I thought about trying to adjust it better myself, now that I bought a screwdriver, but I don't think it is needed (anyone wants to buy a good unused rolex scredriver? :)-Seems to run well. I only timed it for 4 days, which is not enough, but the current average is +0.5s/day. The best watch I had in th
