Advise Needed from TRF Friends AP VS Patek
So I have has an itch lately for a Patek, and while I know Patek is considered as good as it gets in the world of watches. I just wanted to see what some of the members here thought about a comparison. I have a new style AP rose gold offshore 44mm, I was thinking of trading it for a Patek nautilus chronograph.Due to the price Decrease, My AP is now less than the Patek Model I'm interested in.AP MSRP is now 46k while the patek is around 51k and stainless steel no less..Patek is a clean chrono dial with nice fly back button on the side. Bracelet looks a little plain. But then again, this is a patek and patek is forever. or so their advertisement's say lol.Should I sell off the AP and purchase the patek and owe a few grand more ontop? What does everyone thing about that? This would be my first patek. While it is way more subtle than the AP, It has really started to stick with me the more I see it. any advise would be great.

Black Bay vs PO 8500
I am having a heck of a time trying to decide what my next purchase is going to be. I think I have it narrowed down to a Blue Tudor Black Bay and a Omega Planet Ocean 8500 (both pre-owned). My current collection is as follows:Rolex Sub CBreitling Avenger SeawolfOmega Speedmaster ProBreitling NavitimerOmega Planet Ocean 2500Current grails would be Rolex Exp II 42mm & GMT II BLNR (but those are little out of my price range at the moment)I originally wanted the Black Bay on the fabric strap because I thought it would be different from my other watches. However, I know that I didn't love the snowflake hands at first sight. I think I have somewhat convinced myself to like the Black Bay . However, every time I see pictures of the new 8500 PO, I think Now THAT is a good looking watch. I am torn, though, because I know how similar the 8500 is to the 2500, and in fact people prefer the 2500 for certain reasons. Between Aquanaut 5167R and 5167/1A, which one do you prefer and why?
Between the rose gold Aquanaut and the SS version ( either rubber or bracelet ), which one would be your choice and why?Let me say, I first thought the RG would be more of a PP watch than the SS version -- the rubber/SS seemed quite simple to me, on my newbie conclusions. what do you guys think? best and thanks in advance
