MKII Nassau Review
MKII is a bit of an anomaly in the watch world. Their watches are immediate cult favorites, they base their designs largely if not entirely on classic designs from military and tool watches from the 50's, 60's and 70's and they are basically a company of one. MKII is the project of Bill Yao, a perfectionist with an eye for the details and obsessive dedication to quality and execution. In hand, a MKII has the feel of a watch worth much more. These are not just dials and movements and cases put together and sold, each piece is carefully designed, assembled, examined and tested. They are all built with top quality components, and though their prices reflect this all, they are not outrageously priced.Case: 316L SteelMovement: ETA 2836-2Dial: BlackLume: YesLens: SapphireStrap: BraceletWater Res.: 200mDimensions: 39.2 x 47.95mmThickness: 14.5 mmLug Width: 20 mmCrown: 7 x 4 mm screw downWeight: 144g on bracelet (our measure)Warranty: yesPrice: $895.00MKII's most recent release, the Nassau, is
Introducing The Hublot Classic Fusion Extra-Thin Skeleton: Yes, "Hublot" And "Extra-Thin" Are In Same Sentence
No, your eyes do not deceive you. The same brand that brought you this is now showing, for the first time ever, an extra-thin watch! The announcement from Hublot came out today that they would be expanding their Classic Fusion line to include the extra-thin skeletons you see above. The Classic Fusion Extra-Thin Skeleton will be available in a LE of 1000 pieces in titanium and 500 pieces in gold.? They are sized at 45mm and feature a brand new movement, the HUB1300 hand-wound, that is only 2.9mm thick, with a power reserve of 90 hours. The skeletonized movement has a sub-seconds at 7 o'clock and this wath, apparently, has hands that are designed with the original Hublots in mind.No word on pricing but we do have lives pics below courtesy of Hublot Nation, so check em out.(via TZ / HublotNation) 2 OF 5 3 OF 5 4 OF 5 5 OF 5
Omega Accessories Picture Thread.
Hi guys. Lets have some fun. I got both this box and the SS ring when I was having a great trip with my wife so I love them. The SS ring is a very solid piece and very well made, but its large and heavy for daily use. If you have any Omega accessories, its time to show some pics.
Omega Constellation F300 Dial Question
Has anyone ever seen this dial? It looks black in regular lighting, but in sunlight/bright light it is actually brown and lightens toward the middle of the dial. Has it gone tropical, or is that a known Omega dial?It is a model 198.0076 from circa 1973-1974.
First Panerai: PAM384
Hi All,Long time lurker first time poster here and thought it was finally time I jumped into the mix. I finally pulled the trigger last week and bought a PAM384 from a fellow member here. Hasn't left my wrist since the day it came. Big thanks to RUPanerai for a smooth transaction. It's a few years old, O-Series, but so far she seems to be running perfectly.
