Roger Dubuis has just shared with us the beginning of a most interesting project and one that will undoubtedly attract a good deal of attention, as well as, perhaps, a bit of controversy. This is the Hommage Millésime project. PO 8500 options
I'm very close to buying a Planet Ocean to compliment my Sea-Dweller and my late-60s vintage DeVille. Overall, I prefer the 2500 version with the aluminum bezel, but I don't want to turn my back on the new movement. My question is this: can I buy the orange 8500 in 42mm and then install one of the older 2500 black bezels? Will it fit?

I found an old UV black light lamp and aimed it at my PO. The thing glowed like it was plugged in. It was pretty amazing. All of the photos are short exposures - no long ones, so that may give you an idea of how bright this thing was glowing.Rob
