Edox Class-1 Chronoffshore Limited Edition Watch
This new watch from Edox ain't half bad, however, it just might irritate Audemars Piguet with the Chrono-offshore name. I know it is supposed to be Chronoffshore but I want it to have an extra "o" so badly. Edox has been playing with their chronograph sport pieces for a while - some really hit and some really miss. This one is certainly a good looker with mostly black and silvery white mixed in with a little blue.Not the first watch Edox made in its place as the official timekeeper of Class-1 powerboat racing, this new model is clearly the best. You see how I've placed an image here of one of the Class-1 boats. These aren't for stately wind-powered yacht races, these are all engine. The new Chronoffshore watch comes in a 43mm wide PVD black steel case that is water resistant to 500 meters. We've seen this case before but it still looks good, especially with its large pushers. It is hard to understand what the bezel looks like in real-life given these images. It is black on black? Black

It's a 105.012-65. Pictures from the seller; I'll take my own soon enough. Dial, hands, and bezel look to be in fantastic shape, with an even patina. Bracelet is perfect, though it will be switched out for a JB Champion a la Neil. Can't wait to see her in person!

But it's still a very special day for me! Moved a couple pieces and picked up my first pp which Davidsw shipped to me today. In an endless sea of PANERAI SEs, it can sometimes be pretty hard to choose what your first SE may look like. Yes, I want that elusive 382 and while the pull of 368 remains strong, the only other in my wish list had been the Radiomir 449 ever since it was announced. What really surprised me was the relatively dull response to 449, contributed largely by the OP's strange marketing behavior [ release of 425 ]. While 425 is surely more eye-popping, it takes a little time on the wrist to actually appreciate the understated elegance of 449 with the cleanest dial conceivable and those mesmerizing blue hands. It took me a while to unbox this beauty .. I was in Hawaii when the watch landed and on return, was swamped with job interviews et al. 16610LV Rehaut or not?
Since the 16610LV is almost kinda old school now with the Ceramic LV so widely popular ( and gorgeous ) do you prefer the 16610LV with rehaut or not?My first LV a Z didn't have it and like an idiot I sold it. Kinda miss the older school feel of no rehaut.However my current darn near daily wearer an M does have it and I think I finally prefer it. How about you guys?First my old Z. Awful picture. Sorry.
