Jaquet Droz’s Grande Seconde SW watch collection, the sportier cousins of the brand’s well-known Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde models, expands this year, with six new models in steel cases, offering two different case sizes and three contemporary color schemes. The Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde SW derives its name from its off-center “figure eight” dial design, with a prominent seconds subdial in the bottom half intersecting a smaller, hours-and-minutes subdial in the top half. Buben & Z?rweg Phantom High Fidelity Winder
Founded in 1995, Austrian-based Buben & Z?rweg produces some of the finest watch winders, safes and clocks available today. At this year’s JCK, they showed the Phantom High Fidelity, a winder that also houses a fine German sound system. The retro-futuristic unit, which holds up to eight watches, is constructed from race car-inspired materials including aluminum with macassar or carbon inlay, with an Italian leather interior. The hi-fi system is hidden in the column pedestal.
