Cyrus Klepcys Watch
Newer brand, new watch. Cyrus debuted late last year but I never got a chance to really check them out as their timepieces reminded me of wrist-mounted doomsday devices. Their flagship watch is Klepcys (still trying to properly pronounce that one) and it is a formidable piece of unique horology. The master behind the mechanism is Jean-Francois Mojon. One of today's better watch makers who is known for (among other things), the Harry Winston Opus X.In addition to the standard Klepcys watch, Cyrus will be donating a special one to the Only Watch 2011 auction. Images of both are seen here, whereas the piece unique model for the action is in white gold with a red "11." The high-end piece is another attempt on "doing it differently." While I respect the mechanism and concept for some reason the design leaves me a inert. I feel as though I need more time with the watch to appreciate it fully. Happy Birthday Gondolo..!
Treated my Gondolo Calendario to a little present to celebrate its 7th birthday.The watch came fitted with the 18ct Patek pin-buckle as standard, which I have always felt was penny-pinching by PP. I quickly fitted the strap with a Hirsch gold-plated deployant buckle and wore it that way for seven years.On my last trip to London, I picked up a new 18ct yellow gold Patek Philippe deployant buckle to complete my watch. Wasn't cheap, but hey, good old Mastercard, and I think it was worth it!Before, with the Hirsch buckle fitted...and now...Now back on my wrist!MW

Am I Being Irrational?
Hello Everyone!As you can see, I'm new to the forums here (and to Rolex in general too) and recently decided to acquire my first Rolex timepiece, a Stainless-Steel GMT Master II (ref 116710LN). I chose a seller on here primarily due to lack of inventory at the six ADs in my area and I just grew tired of waiting.The lack of peace of mind is why I haven't been able to enjoy the watch completely. I knew going into purchasing a watch on TRF that there would not be a 100% guarantee of authenticity and that a buyer should buy the seller . I chose justrolexes because of his incredible reputation and feedback from other users. The watch came with everything: box, papers, hangtags, etc. and all aspects of the watch to my untrained eye look correct, but that What if? feeling hasn't gone away. Due to this, I'm flying out to Beverly Hills on Tuesday to take my GMT to the RSC and pay the $150 to have it authenticated once and for all. Only then will I be at ease. Now ignoring the obvious price difference of these two wonderful timepieces which one would you pick.Personally I'd like to add them both to my collection, But taking into account the demand for the Hulk plus others talking of increasing costs not to mention the waiting time to get hold of one it's seems more likely the one to choose.I'm currently on the waiting list for the Hulk which is around 2 years in the UK...Whereas there is only around a 3 month wait for the other.What are your thoughts 😕
