Harry Winston Histoire De Tourbillon 6 Watch
Harry Winston has recently announced another chapter in their Histoire de Tourbillon line, the Harry Winston Histoire De Tourbillon 6. It is traditionally one of the most complicated watches, but released with the least amount of usable illustrations - you guessed it: one front view. To sum it all up real quick: a triple-axis tourbillon, a separate karussel, 683 parts, two time indications,?resetting hands on the second indication,?carriage stop on the karussel, over 80 hours of power reserve, and a monstrous?55-millimeter case. Take all that into account, and you will see why it baffles me why such halo pieces C because, after all, such releases are the epitome of halo releases C are debuted with just?a single front view of the watch. Illustration-rant over, we can move on to?similarly mind-boggling, albeit much more interesting?issues now C of the mechanical kind! The left hand side of the highly asymmetrical Harry Winston Histoire de Tourbillon 6 dial is, of course, dominated by the
Dodane Type 21 Watch Available On James List
Dodane is a very cool watch brand. They don't exactly have the biggest collection of pieces - banking it all on a single product with a few variations, but a nice product it is. Their fine offering is the Type 21 watch, a historical looking aviation timepieces with a healthy relevance for today's pilot or watch enthusiast. Nothing in the watch sacrifice's its core mission - to be a highly legible timepieces, with a flyback chronograph, and to function as a measuring tool in the event an aircraft's instrumentation dies.Dodane's website does a very good job explaining not only the history of the watch, but also all of its functions and available variations - all with lots of pictures. While not perfect, the site is surprisingly useful - for a watch brand website that is. Based in France, Dodane watches are very rare in the US. The French brand is proud of their history that goes back to 1857. Today, it is said that the fifth generation Dodane family still presides over the brand. I think
Will you look down your noses at me???
My first post on the AP forum, and based on my first comment maybe my last, there, all legal disclaimers listed up front. I know AP is one of the absolute top rank watch brands. So naturally one should be on my purchase plan to round out my humble collection. Now for the disclaimer, unlike EVERYBODY I am sure on this AP forum I just don't like the signature OAK style AP watches, but I understand why others do.As a result I am drawn to some of the vintage AP watches including some of the moonphase styles, the old slim line gold watches, but I also like the basic and plain Millenary in SS with a leather band. Will I be looked down on by the big hitters with their 6 digit big ticket platinum OAK's if I start with the humblest of the breed.... In truth is there anything I should know as a watchout on these basic AP's I am assuming they are still made with a AP automatic movement and that they should be reliable and dependable. All of my watches tend to be on the plain side of the brands. Ev
3570.50 or 311.30.42.30.01.005
I admit I am new, and I am looking for advice on an Omega Speedmaster. Which Model is considered more desirable, and will hold it's value more in the long run the 3570.50 or the new 311.30.42.30.01.005 ? The new box and extras the come with the 311 look really nice, but functionally and collectable, which model is the one to really look in to? Thank you for the advice! .omegawatches/collecti...31130423001005.omegawatches/collecti...ional/35705000
