ROO steel bracelet price?
Hi all,Anyone know the retail price if a ROO steelbracelet in the states?
Thinking on selling my 2531.80 Bond. Will I regret it later on?
Hi gents.Since I got my 14060M, I keep thinking about selling my 2531.80 Bond Seamaster... My 14060M will be my daily beater. I'm afraid the Omega will go stay in the drawer most of the days. What do you think? Anyone has sold theirs and regretted it afterwards?
Incoming...5167a!
Well, I'm officially hooked! Second Patek Philippe from my AD, and in less than three months! Received my 5711/1a at the first of the year, and now just received my 5167a!I know at first glance these two are similar pieces with the movement, size, and bezel. But they wear and look very different in the flesh. And this may be sacrilegious to say, but I think I like the 5167 even more than the 5711! It doesn't photograph as well as the Nautilus, but it's stunning in person! I wear shorts, t-shirts/polos and flip flops most every day and the Aquanaut goes with that lifestyle perfectly. Needless to say, I couldn't be happier! Coupled with my 114060, I think I'm set (for a while, haha!) with my 3 watch mini-collection. And this forum has been so educational and knowledgeable about brands and references, without being condescending to others with different opinions. I appreciate the insight and I'm grateful to be a member here on TRF!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Panerai PAM422
Hi guys, Does anyone here own the pam422? I'd like to hear your opinions of owning this model. I currently own the 312 and I'm considering adding the 422 to my collection. Do you guys think it is different enough from the 312. I do feel it is.... bigger size, has the domed crystal and a manual movement and is all polished. So can anyone here share some experience or even some thoughts as to the idea of the 422. Thanks M.
Stashing Rolex at the gym
I just became the proud owner of my first rolex (an LV), and naturally don't ever want to take it off my wrist. However, I also live in NYC, where driving a personal vehicle, etc isn't a thing. I go to the gym every day, Mon-Fri, straight after work because its easier for me to get to the gym from work. The gym has the type of locker room where you bring your own typical combination lock, find an empty locker, and lock up your stuff until you leave.I never bat an eye about doing this every single day with my clothes, wallet, and daily beater watch, but I would never do so with my rolex (as I'm sure neither would many of you). The gym is not a high-crime area/population or anything, but it just isn't a risk I'd take. So my issue is- I end up only being able to wear my wonderful watch on the weekend! Which sucks. However, the gym also has lock boxes by the front entrance, directly across from the check-in desk which is constantly manned by at least 1 employee, and also in pretty much direc
