Hublot Launches New Big Bang Ferrari
Hublot chairman Jean-Claude Biver's appreciation for speed is evident not only in his choice of partner for the Swiss watch brand's latest collaborative venture the Italian sportscar icon Scuderia Ferrari but in the astoundingly short time it has taken to produce the first Ferrari-branded Hublot wristwatch: the Hublot Big Bang Ferrari Magic Gold. Wallpaper image inside. The watch, which was unveiled this week at the Baselworld watch fair, is not only the first fruit of the partnership between Hublot and Ferrari, announced a scant five months ago, but also the first use of an entirely new material developed by Hublot: so-called Magic Gold, a scratch-resistant alloy of gold and ceramic used for the case. The case is larger than that of a typical Big Bang watch, 45.5 mm in diameter; this is the first variation of the Big Bang case since the model was launched in 2005. Got The Breitling Bug
I want a GMT and have been looking at The Super Ocean, Avenger ll and the Colt. I don't know much about the Colt. Is this sort of a junior Breitling? At first I had misgivings about the Super Ocean too, just because Breitling is so closely tied to aviation. Then after reading the history I realize it's a serious offering. So, I guess right now the Avenger ll and the Super Ocean are neck and neck, but I want to learn more about the Colt. I'd like for it to be 43mm or less because I don't care for the bigger watches on me. They look good on others. I can't get used to them on my own arm is all. What do you more experienced Breit guys and gals think?
Pressure Test result question - test rejected
Had my sub pressure tested and the results show test 1 as being rejected and test 2 as being OK. The guy who tested it said not to worry about the rejected test and that it was ok because it passed test 2. Could anyone provide some insight on this and the results? Is it ok to swim with?Test 1Test Pressure: -0.7 barMaximum deformation: -1.7 umTightness value: -1.2% minTest1 rejectedTest pressure: 3 barMax deformation: +10.15 umTightness value: +2.1 % minTest2 OK
Need advise on Rolex 14060M
Dear watch lovers, I have opportunity to buy a Rolex 14060M random series. Would think that this will complement my polar 16570 perfectly. The sub comes with no accessories, watch only with 10 links, slight Polish previously. No visible damage from the photos. My question will be, whats the fair price of this watch? Seller asking for usd 5600....fair? Sent from my CPH1701 using Tapatalk
