AP 15400 price increase
Quite surprised to see how much AP 15400 preowned trading today. Why the price surges? Do you think it is affected by PP 5711's craze?Hopefully it will continue to increase though, make me relieved I bought it for good price last December. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
Incoming... my first AP!
My first AP just got delivered today thanks to the ever so wonderful Addy616 (thanks again Adnan) whom I've now dealt it time and time again; highly recommend him! I give you, my first AP, a watch I've lusted after for a long time, the Royal Oak!And specifically the 15400ST Silver dial Thank you all for all the posts/conversations on this AP subforum, I've learnt so much reading and researching!
Pain is knowing your FedEx delivery is on "hold for pick up"
I've been off site all week for work and I managed to pull the trigger on my very first AP. Had to have it shipped to my closest hub for pickup after hours. All day Wednesday I had to stare at my phone that said held for pick up. It was torture! Late Wednesday I was off to FedEx to pick it up.Wrapped up work for the week so I am finally able to relax and enjoy my first AP.A special thanks to Thomas (TSW) and Paul (Texex91) for guidance and a big bump for DavidSW who made everything very easy and comfortable - I appreciate the help from all.Already planning #2 - I just love it.
GMT II moniker?
For some reason, I am not a fan of numbers in product names. GMT-MASTER II seems to imply a III will come later, and it takes away from the timeless aspects of the watch, imo. Anyone else feel this way? Love the new pepsi ss but I can't bring myself to purchase because of the name.
Whats next on your list?
I sold my Tudor Black Bay and my Omega Speedmaster sapphire sandwich to buy my GMT Master II. I don't regret it at all! However, I now kind of view the Speedy as the one that got away . I would now say I have Speedy Fever again, and can't wait to get one back in my collection. What about you? Anything you are aching to get?Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
