Orient Marks the 10th Anniversary of the Mako
The watches produced by Orient have long been known among the watch community to be well built and affordable choices. They have been producing their models since 1950 and have had several hits throughout the years. A stand-out feature of the brand is they make movements in-house, in their Japanese facilities. One of the more popular watches they have released is their Mako divers watch. It has actually been the best selling Orient ?of the past decade, since its release in 2004. Since it has been ten years since its release, Orient is celebrating the event with a new, special edition of the Mako.The Mako line is normally made up of three dial colors: black, blue and orange which are all available internationally (and a blue dial version with a splash of red on the bezel). Hi,I need some help choosing a watch from PP and cant get my head around what's the right watch for me. Of course I would like to have the Nautilus or the Aquanaut but due to the crazy waiting I am thinking of buying a something else until I can get my hands on one of those. Requirements: Budget max 30k euroI wear all my watches so it must be able to handle itCurrently have a Sub, Old Cartier dress watch and some sport watches.Watch need to be in steel, white gold or platinumWhite dial I would like to buy new PP from AD Would you chose one of the Caltravas models or from the complication collection?I have been looking at 5153G, 5227G, 5296G, 5296G. What would you recommend? Ideas? Or maybe go Vintage and by a Comex (if I can find one)? Im not a big fan of AP and the royal oak...

Engraving Caseback- Where and how?
Hello TRF members,Any suggestion where one can get quality engraving done on the case-back? I couldn't find much info on the TRF threads. I am Dallas, Atlanta and Anchorage the most. Any suggestion for engravers in these areas. I am looking to get an image with light text engraved and it seems the engraving can be done by hand or by a machine! Suggestions which one might be a better option?How much does it generally cost? I have attached few links for the images to give an idea of what I am looking for.
