AP Jumbo 15202... Steel or Red Gold
Hi Guys,Need help deciding between the AP Jumbo 15202 Steel and Red Gold.I really like the weight and look of the Red Gold with blue dial but the original steel version is also to die for.The price of the RG is obviously much higher but given the choice based on looks alone which do you think is better. Here is a pic of the Steel Jumbo, unfortunately did not click the RG when I tried it on.Thanks
From B to Wings
Anyone know when Breitling went from the stylized B to the Wings on the clasp, ideally on the Datora model.
ss dd
Heard from a solid source that a white dial ss DD is dropping Basel this year, as well as a ss Pepsi GMT II. Several DD-owning friends said there's no way Rolex would drop one in ss, but I don't see why not, seeing as they've done similar things with other references, such as the Sky-D. Do you guys think an ss version of the venerable classic would become the most popular?
16610LV The real 50th Anniversary sub???
Hi all,With the price of these beautiful watches increasing and in high demand it's interesting to see the price variance between the flat 4 and pointed 4.The big question is which year is the genuine 50th Anniversary watch? The first 16610LV's were sold in 2003 but the first sub was released in 1954 at Baselworld so a 2003 16610LV would make it 49 years since the first sub so it begs the question are the 2004 model/purchased 16610LV's the genuine 50th Anniversary models and the ones that are most desirable? This would make the F series the genuine 50th Anniversary watches???Thoughts???
Shout out thank you to oldman2005!
Oldman2005 brightened the holidays for me. Last week he offered up his extra Rolex Daytona magazine to the first comer. It arrived today and is super cool.I'll get my other Daytona out tomorrow and read it cover to cover. Thanks again!!! -Christopher
