Help determining value of 1947 Omega
Can anyone assist me with determining an estimated value for this watch, I have an opportunity to trade a non watch item for it but am not fluent in vintage Omega.

Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167A - insane or not?
Hello!I can't figure out whether I'm insane or not, and this forum might not be the right place to ask, but here I am :-)I'm by no means a watch enthusiast - I have had fairly basic things over the years, nothing special (popular Tag Heuer models). For a very long time I have admired the Aquanaut and thought about getting one when I could afford it - i.e. in many years from now!However, due to some potentially serious illness which I have recently recovered from, I will now receive a substantial amount from my health insurance. Luckily I'm not in need of the money.Therefore I want to buy a daily reminder of how lucky I am. Just today one of my colleagues brought to office his latest Panerai trophy PAM00670 blue sun-brushed sandwich. Limited to 500 pieces.
