Greco Hexagonal Nut Watch For True Gear Heads
Watch industry supplier turned watchmaker Stephane Greco has introduced what I believe is his first publicly available watch, with the new and rather clever Greco Hexagonal Nut watch, as part of his Les Temps Modernes family of timepieces. The name of the watch is rather straight-forward, as the case is actually a titanium reproduction of an actual industrial nut - that is a hexagon. The two Les Temps Modernes launch models are the references LTM-18t and the LTM-04t.There are a few versions of the watch, with the most interesting having matching hexagonal nut hour markers and (fitting) wrench-style hands. It all looks a bit silly until you realize that it actually aesthetically works. Greco has produced a few timepieces in the past that he never went public with and only sold to close colleagues. Though, the last time we spoke a few years ago, he did mention that his "brand" was going to be a bit more visible soon. Yes, in the Swiss watch world, 1.5 years later is "soon."Stephane Greco

My AP RO on the road
We did a Canadian Rockies drive-a-thon vacation. We landed in Seattle and off we went with our rental van to Spokane Washington, headed through Idaho into Calgary, conquered Banff, Lake Louise, Lake Minnewanka, stopped over at Salmon Arm, and ate for 3 days in Vancouver. Needless to say, the scenery was amazing and simply breathtaking during the 10 day road trip. More importantly, we wanted to let the kids experience nature and know that in the grand scheme of things, we are just a tiny spec of sand in a huge beach and everything is all relative - always be appreciating your surroundings and the greatness of nature.Lastly, the 15300 did a marvelous job in keeping +3 seconds per day time and kept all of us on schedule Few road trip shots:Thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed the scenery.Best,Fred

Question on hornback strap
Hi all,I just took delivery of a 26170 Navy and it wears a little loose on my small wrist. I was wondering if punching an extra hole into the hornback strap would not damage anything. Also, I was wondering if it is possible to swap out the deployment clasp and fit in a tang buckle instead. Here's a quick photo:Any thoughts would be much appreciated. About a month or so ago I posted to see if anyone local to Charlotte NC had an Aquanaut that I could see and try in the flesh. The local AD hasn't had one for quite a while and the list is several folks deep to get one. Long story short I just decided to pull the trigger. So many reviews about this watch being quite comfortable and perfect. I figured all you guys couldn't be wrong.
