Hands-On: Triwa Nevil
I came across Triwa on accident. I was browsing tumblr and this weird watch caught my eye. I took a closer look and thought, "wow, that's different". What I saw was a strange mix of classic watch elements, fashion colors, strange materials, and a price point geared towards mass-market consumption. Then I looked at the brand and thought, once again, "wow, that's different". A Swedish brand that makes watches, watch straps and sunglasses and presents them with the eye and direction of a fashion brand. Needless to say, I was intrigued enough to write and get a sample for review, which they kindly provided. The watch I received is a vintage inspired quartz chronograph called the Nevil that runs $285. It's available in a handful of colors, but I went for a classic mix called "The Havana", which balances silver, a few shades of brown and spot of orange for a nice 70's vibe. Receiving it, I was quite pleased with the level of detail they put into the watch, the various components, and moreove
New Omega Botique coming to Somerset Collection in Michigan
This may have already been posted, I dont spend much time on the Omega forum. But I just was at the very upscale Somerset Collection in Troy, MI and sall this storefront right across from the existing Tourneau. Interesting that Tourneau will lost the Omega line, as well as losing the Rolex line a few months ago. Ouch. Always have terrible experiences at this Tourneau. Looking forward to the new Omega Botique.

Help evaluating my late grandfather's Rolex
Hey all, I am very new to the Rolex world. With so many variables that can alter the value of these beautiful watches, I am more than confused and turning to you guys for help. What I think I have is a 50's oyster perpetual. It has the bubble back, has Brevet 6305 1 engraved in it. What I believe to be rare is the fact that it has both justdate in red, and the date numbers are all red. I have attached pictures of the watch, as well as a few with the caseback removed thanks to my friendly local (but Rolex illiterate) jeweler. Any help you could give me [edited] is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
