Tutima Grand Classic Chronograph Watch
Nice timepiece and something pretty different from Tutima right? I got to check out this watch direct from Tutima who was nice enough to show it to me while I was at JCK in Las Vegas. This is one of Tutima's new timepieces that was released at Basel and represents a bold look maintaining a very high level of functionality. Tutima is located in Glashutte Germany right around a few other famous German watch brands. What I really like about the watches is that you can see a Tutima watch from the 1920s and you can recognize it as being from the same brand as Tutima watches of today. They have done an excellent job of keeping the character and heritage of the brand intact. Two major parts of that are the signature coined bezel (not on all their watches though), and the classic looking hands.Part of the new trend of Tutima watches is making larger cases which are now around 44mm wide. This Grand Classic Chronograph is 43.5mm wide and 15.8mm tall. The case is beautifully retro and constructed
Vintage Speedy leather strap
I thought I'd post this picture as I'd never seen the strap option for a 321 Speedy. It's a perforated, racing strap. Very different from the alligator strap currently on offer from Omega. I wonder where I can get a replica of these?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1339511663.016785.jpg
do you wish they made a PLANET OCEAN in 43.5
a size in between the two 42mm and 45.5 ?
Wait list on 5711/1A-010
Relatively new to this discussion forum and I have some basic questions on the Nautilus three-hand blue dial. What is the wait-list? I've read 3 years. Would PP salon have it available more than other AD? Also what is the annual production on this model? Does PP divulge these numbers? So lots of beginner's questions that may or may not have answers but I sure would love to hear some expert opinions!
Hulk Thoughts
I got one recently. bnib from a great ad. He made me promise not to sell it. Which i agreed to. However, it has yet to cling to my heart like i thought it would. I just stare at it in the box and it has yet to take over wrist time from my other vintage watches......am i alone here? I thought this watch was dynamite in pictures and on my wrist in the showroom but it has yet to really set it. What should i do?
