Ulysse Nardin Launches Limited Edition Timepiece for Monaco Yacht Show
Ulysse Nardin, a brand steeped in nautical history, is participating for the fourth year as an official sponsor of the prestigious Monaco Yacht Show. To commemorate the occasion, the brand has introduced a new, limited-edition timepiece to its Marine Diver collection.The watch contains a self-winding movement, Caliber UN-26, equipped with a 42-hour power reserve (indicated on the dial at 12 o’clock) and an oversize date display (indicated in a round window at 6 o’clock, along with the small-seconds subdial). As on the previously released Black Sea and Blue Sea editions, the dial and the blue rubber strap are both embossed with a nautical-inspired wave pattern motif.The stainless-steel case, which is a generous 45.8 mm in diameter, has been treated with a sophisticated vulcanization process that gives it a blue rubber coating that the company says increases its comfort on the wrist. Omega boutiques know nothing
Went to the Omega boutique in westfield stratford to see the 007 display that ended today, the display was great with some of the watches from the films and other bond props. Got talking with a sales rep and said wouldn't be buying another Omega as they don't give discounts and all the AD's are going, he said Breitling was going the same way as they had a boutique and you can't discounts from them or from the Tag Heuer boutique thats there. Funny when I went into the Breitling boutique and Tag Heuer boutique I was offered discounts in both. Looks like it is only Omega boutiques that can't offer any discounts.

vintage seamaster..any knowledge?
im looking for some information about my fathers vintage seamaster.. he has owned it for over 20years, but we think it may be much older.. i can't rememebr the exact story behind it, but he came by it in spain a long time ago.it is quartz, and has had a genuine replacement bracelet from omega in recent years (he still has the original bracelet). it displays the day in spanish as well as english.we are sure the case is solid gold, but the bracelet is plated.does anyone have any knowledge of this watch- year, current value, rarity etc..we will be offering it for sale in the near future, but know very little about the physical watch..anyone?thanks!

I know the 5711 white dial is not as popular as the unobtainable blue dial, would it be normal to get some type of discount on the white dial version?
